Hamden Hall recently learned that the Rev. Joseph Arthur "Duke" McAlpine Jr.. of Raleigh, NC, died on October 31, 2023, at the age of 90. He is survived by his wife, Jean Seely McAlpine, two children, one of which is Joelle Duren, a Hamden Hall alumna, Class of 1997, six grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
