Irma Elders Shutan, Past Parent
Past parent, Irma Elders Shutan, died on July 16, in Boynton Beach, Florida. She was 97. Irma is survived by three children, two of which are Hamden Hall alumni, Caron Shutan Yospe, Class of 1975, and Bruce Shutan, Class of 1979, nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband of 71 years, David Shutan.
The Hamden Hall community extends sincere condolences to Caron, Bruce, and the Shutan family.
A funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 21 at 1 p.m., at the Rubin Memorial Chapel in Boynton Beach, followed by burial at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens.
