Wendell L. Goldsmith Jr., Hamden Hall Class of 1960, died on November 10, in Florida, following complications from a fall. Wendell is survived by his wife, Nancy, his son and daughter, and 2 grandchildren.
After Hamden Hall, Wendell attended Southern Connecticut State University, and that is where he met Nancy. He graduated in 1964. He worked in medical supply sales, real estate, and as a croupier at Mohegan Sun Casino. He spent over 50 years as a member of the Greater New Haven Umpires Association.
