Deborah Hoffman, Past Grandparent and Current Great-Grandparent
Deborah Hoffman, of Hamden, died on October 5 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Hoffman.
Deborah is the grandmother of Hamden Hall parent, faculty member, and alumna, Emily Zeid Schimelman, Class of 2002, and alumnus, Joshua Zeid, Class of 2005. Her daughter is past parent and current grandparent, Karen (Ira) Zeid. Her great-grandchildren, Gabriel Schimelman and Laila Schimelman attend Hamden Hall, Class of 2033 and 2035 respectively.
Funeral services will be held GRAVESIDE, Thursday morning, October 9, at 11 a.m., at B'nai Jacob Memorial Park, 200 Wintergreen Ave., New Haven. Robert E. Shure & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Shiva dates and times: Family will gather on Thursday following the service at 42 Canterbury Rd., Hamden, until 4 p.m., Friday, October 10, from 1 - 4 p.m., Saturday, October 11, from 6:30 - 8 p.m., and Sunday, October 12, from 1 - 4 p.m.
