Curtis D. Andrews Sr., Past Parent and Former Trustee

Curtis D. Andrews Sr., of North Haven, died peacefully on July 21, surrounded by his family, at the Veterans Health Administration in West Haven. He was 91.
Curt is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jane Murray Andrews, his son, Curtis Andrews Jr., Hamden Hall alumnus class of 1978, his daughter Kimberlee Andrews Moore, Class of 1978, son Dana Andrews also attended Hamden Hall. 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and extended family.

Curt graduated from Nichols College in Dudley, Mass., with a degree in finance and business administration. He was a Korean War vet. He was a member of the Hamden Hall Country Day School Board of Trustees from 1976 to 1984. He had a 50-year career in the insurance business, served on the Fire Commission and Planning and Zoning commission for many years, and was a proud Rotarian.
