William "Bill" Ostrander, Former Assistant Headmaster and Faculty Member

William "Bill" Ostrander of Clinton, Conn., died peacefully on May 24 at the age of 83.
Bill was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Sheila (Donovan) Ostrander. Bill met Sheila in grade school and together they attended North Adams State College. He is survived by two children, two grandchildren, and extended family.

He was a lifelong learner and dedicated 44 years to education, serving as both a science teacher and an Assistant Headmaster at Hamden Hall. He later taught at Daniel Hand High School in Madison, and volunteered as an EMT with the Clinton Fire Department for over 25 years.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date. Hamden Hall extends condolences to the Ostrander family.
