Growing up at Hamden Hall taught me how important it is to belong somewhere and inspired me to try to create that sense of family in my work teaching medicine and in my own community. And I can’t say enough about the teachers who first got me excited about science and gave me a lifelong love of literature. Forty years later, I’m still grateful.
