Boys’ Varsity Soccer Victorious on Homecoming Weekend
The Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team welcomed Emmanuel Christian Academy for its Homecoming game at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex on Friday, October 16, winning 5-2.
Taking the field, the Hornets were ready as senior and co-captain Anton Cruz scored two goals within the first five minutes of the game. The dominance continued going into halftime as the team led 3-0. The Falcons battled back to score two goals, but the team kept on the defense and scored two more goals to secure the final victory.
“The team has shown its growth through many grueling matches, position adjustments, and tactical changes,” said assistant coach Charles Khuen.
