Road Win for Boys’ Varsity Soccer
The Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team traveled for an away game against The Forman School on Wednesday, October 14, winning 8-3.
The Hornets were quick out the gate as senior and co-captain Anton Cruz collected a cross out wide and dribbled through three defenders, nestling the ball into the far corner of the net to score a goal. The team kept up the pressure, scoring two more goals before halftime.
The second half saw action from the Lions as they scored three goals and kept strong on the defense. It was not enough as the Hornets came through with a flurry of goals to secure the final victory of 8-3.
The team returns to the field for its Homecoming game against Emmanuel Christian Academy at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex on Friday, October 16, at 3:30 p.m.
