Home Match Win for Boys’ Varsity Tennis

The Boys’ Varsity Tennis Team welcomed Mount Saint Charles Academy for a home match at the James R. Maggart Tennis Courts on Saturday, April 11, winning 5-2.

In the singles match, senior and captain Kaelen Annes won his set with scores of 6-0 and 6-2 as fellow senior and captain Cole Christman won his sets with scores of 6-1 and 6-1.

All three doubles teams won their sets as senior Loic Eklund and eighth-grader Daniil Laskov won in the first position to secure the victory for the Hornets.

Coach Kevin Brueler noted that the team showed a great attitude on the court, and each player gave their best efforts from start to finish.

The team stays home for a match against Cheshire Academy on Monday, April 13, at 4:30 p.m.
