Road Win for Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse

The Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to Wilbraham & Monson Academy for an away game on Saturday, March 28, winning 7-6.
Taking the field, it was a battle between the Hornets and the Titans. Seniors and captains Angelina McKennal Anya Carter, Jane Jagielow, and Emily Savik led the team. Freshman Liza Zuffelato scored her first Varsity goal as fellow freshman Mya Brevard scored the game winning goal to secure the final victory.

Coach Danielle Pannone noted that she is proud of the way the team worked together to get the win.

The team returns home to the Skiff Street Athletic Complex for a game against Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Rye Country Day School on Tuesday, March 31, at 4:30 p.m.
