The Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team traveled for an away game against Rye Country Day School on Wednesday, February 11, winning 71-50.
Taking the court, freshman TJ Holt led the Hornets with 15 points followed by freshman Massa Toure with 13 points. Senior Amati Civitello, juniors Christian Cournoo and Eli Kingsley, and sophomore Jack Cohen netted a combined 32 points to secure the final victory.
“It was a great team win tonight as it was a business trip on the road and we went in and got the job done,” said Jack.
Coach Sean Doherty commented that everyone played great defense and contributed to the win to secure the 10th victory of the season.
The team stays on the road for an away game against Brunswick School on Friday, February 13, at 4 p.m.
