Home Win for Girls’ Varsity Basketball
The Girls’ Varsity Basketball Team welcomed Millbrook School for a home game at the Beckerman Athletic Center on Friday, January 9, winning 74-27.
Taking the court, the team was quick on the tipoff and started the game strong with defensive pressure against its opponent. The Lady Hornets kept the momentum going throughout the rest of the game to secure the final victory.
“It was a super team win,” said Coach Brian Johnson. “I really love coaching this group of young ladies.”
The team also won its previous game against Convent of the Sacred Heart with a score of 62-50 on Wednesday, January 7.
The Lady Hornets return to the court for an away game against Greenwich Country Day School on Wednesday, January 14, at 4:45 p.m.
