The Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team welcomed St. Thomas More School for an afternoon game at the Beckerman Athletic Center on Monday, December 15, winning 67-30.
Junior Caleb Chapman led the Hornets with 14 points followed by senior and captain Amato Civitello with 12 points. Junior Christian Cournoo netted 11 points as sophomores Jack Cohen and Daniel Vincent and freshman Massa Toure netted a combined 20 points.
“This was a great outcome for the team,” said Caleb. “The hard work we all have been putting in together is paying off and it’s only up from here.”
Coach Sean Doherty noted that it was a solid team win, and the season record has improved to 4-1 overall.
The team returns to the court for an away game against Greens Farms Academy on Wednesday, December 17, at 5:30 p.m.
