The Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team hosted Harvey School for a home game at the Beckerman Athletic Center on Saturday, December 13, winning 72-38.
Junior Christian Cournoo led the Hornets with 17 points followed by freshman Massa Toure with 16 points. Other game point scorers included junior Eli Kingsley, sophomores JT Huckaby and Daniel Vincent, and freshman Jason Beaudouin.
“We set the tone early as a team by getting a big lead early on, and from there we didn’t look back,” said Christian.
Coach Sean Doherty noted that it was a great all-around win for the team and the energy of all players carried over from start to finish.
The team stays home at the Beckerman Athletic Center for a game against St. Thomas More on Monday, December 15, at 5 p.m.
