League Victory for Girls’ Varsity Volleyball
The Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Team welcomed Rye Country Day School for a home game on Wednesday, October 8, winning 3-0.
Taking the court at the Beckerman Athletic Center, the team secured the victory in a hard fought match with every player contributing. Coach Gary Aurora shared that senior and captain Tami Afolalu achieved a school record of 1,000 career kills and was swarmed by her teammates in celebration.
The Lady Hornets return to the court for a home game against Emmanuel Christian Academy on Friday, October 10, at 4 p.m. The game theme is Pink Out in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
