New England Championship Win for Boys’ Varsity Baseball
The Boys’ Varsity Baseball Team traveled to Trinity College for the New England Small School Championship Tournament against Hopkins School, winning 4-3.
The Boys’ Varsity Baseball Team traveled to Trinity College for the New England Small School Championship Tournament against Hopkins School, winning 4-3.
Taking the mound, junior and starting pitcher Amato Civitello struck out three players and only allowed three earned runs on seven hits through five innings. Junior Nic Scilla closed out the game, striking out one player and allowing no earned hits or runs.
At the plate, sophomore Leo Dottori went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI as fellow sophomore Jey Scanlon had two runs and two stolen bases. Senior Carlos Reyes had one hit and one RBI and freshman Grayden Greenberg had one hit.
This win marks the fourth consecutive New England Championship title for the team. The official season record ends 14-7 overall and 10-5 in league play.
