The Girls’ Varsity Golf Team Wins Fishers Island Invitational
The Girls’ Varsity Golf Team placed first at the Fishers Island Invitational Tournament on Tuesday, May 13.
The Girls’ Varsity Golf Team placed first at the Fishers Island Invitational Tournament on Tuesday, May 13.
Teeing off at the Fishers Island Club in New York, junior Berrak Simsek, sophomore Teresa Esposito, freshman Shawna Aurora, and freshman Lila Reiling all did well in their matches and the team placed first overall. Lila was the individual invitational champion as Shawna placed second and Teresa placed third.
Next up for the Lady Hornets is the Kingswood-Oxford Invitational Tournament (KIT) hosted at the Farmington Country with the Boys’ Golf Team on Wednesday, May 21, at 8 a.m. The Boys’ Varsity Golf Team will join as well.
