Class of 2013 alumna Sydney Doolittle married Dylan Evans on May 9 at the Belle Mer in Newport, Rhode Island.
The ceremony welcomed family, friends, and guests with a few Hamden Hall alumni in attendance. Sydney’s brother and Class of 2010 alumnus Trevor Doolittle, his wife Taylor, and their two daughters along with fellow classmate and 2013 alumnus Nick Linta and wife Yasmin enjoyed the celebration.
The couple honeymooned in Bora Bora, New Zealand, and Australia where they spent much of the time relaxing, playing golf, and enjoying great food and wine. Sydney shared that she finally got to visit Sydney, Australia, which was exciting.
Sydney explained that she and Dylan met back in 2023 in the members’ grille after a tournament at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy, Mass. Dylan was already a club member as Sydney joined and they began spending time together on the course. The universe works in funny ways, Sydney noted, as she cited how Dylan used to sell the same IBM software she spent years implementing while working at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and they even attended the same industry conferences.
Sydney and Dylan currently reside in Wellesley, Mass., and hope to welcome a puppy into the home soon. Sydney works as a business solutions architect at the software company IFS, and Dylan works as a technology sales leader at IBM.
