Seaside Wedding for Class of 1982 Alumnus
Class of 1982 alumnus Herb Emanuelson married Susan Kerr on July 27 in Mystic, Conn.
Herb and Susan kept the wedding small with just a few friends and family, but with lots of food, music, dancing, and beautiful views along the Mystic River.
Herb's son, Alex, served as his best man, and Susan's children, Andrew and Kate, walked her down the aisle. Joining the celebration were 1982 classmates David Brause and Gary Greenberg, seen in this photo.
The newlyweds live in West Hartford, where Herb is our Director of Alumni Relations and Susan is a legal contract attorney at UConn Health. The couple spent their honeymoon in Quebec City, where Herb reported that his high school French classes with Martha Venter came in very handy.
