Howard Tuttle Jr., Class of 1957
Howard Tuttle Jr., of Essex, alumnus of the Class of 1957, died on September 20. He was 86 years old.
Howard is survived by his wife Margaret "Peggy" Tuttle, three children, and his sister, alumna Roberta Tuttle Remedios, Class of 1959.
A longtime supporter of his alma mater, Howard helped coordinate reunions and attended many events over the years at Hamden Hall. He often remarked that Hamden Hall had played a "significant role" in his life.
Howard was enjoying retirement and continued to play golf and take to the waters as an avid boater. He was also a longtime member of the Essex Yacht Club.
Hamden Hall extends heartfelt condolences to Howard's family.
