The Girls’ Varsity Softball Team traveled to Westover School for a game on Thursday, April 17, winning 18-0 in a complete shutout.
Freshman Chloe Carling took the mound as starting pitcher, striking out nine players with only three allowed hits and no runs over four innings. At the plate, Chloe had four runs, two hits, and one RBI.
Other player highlights included senior Melanie Carling with four runs, two hits, and two RBIs as fellow senior Mara Patterson scored four runs and senior Summer Krajcir had two RBIs. Eighth grader Caitlin Lesie earned a walk as freshman Kristina Carlson grounded out to allow three runs.
