The Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to Hopkins School for a weekend game on Saturday, April 19, winning 20-8.
Taking the field against the Hilltoppers, the Hornets were quick on the draw and took an early lead in the first quarter. Freshman Cooper Lily had four goals to extend the score to 8-1. By the end of the third quarter, the team built an 18-2 lead before cruising to secure the final victory in the fourth.
Coach Kiernan Griffin 2000 noted that the team was eager to compete, and winning against Hopkins was an incredible moment to remember.
The team returns to the field for an away game against Greens Farms Academy on Tuesday, April 22, at 4:30 p.m.
