Message from the Hamden Hall Parents’ Association

August 2026

Dear Hamden Hall Families,

On behalf of the Hamden Hall Parents' Association, welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We are excited to reconnect with our returning families and extend a heartfelt welcome to those joining the Hamden Hall community for the first time.

Whether you're new to Hamden Hall or have been part of our community for years, we hope you'll find opportunities to connect, volunteer, and enjoy the many traditions that make our school so special. The Parents' Association is here to help build those connections while supporting our students, faculty, and families throughout the year.

Some of our longstanding traditions include Picture Day, the Thanksgiving Pie Sale, the Mother's Day Plant Sale, and our football game concession stand. Proceeds from these fundraisers help support Back-to-School Night receptions, Friday assemblies across the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools, faculty and staff appreciation events, and the graduation reception honoring our seniors and their families.

We look forward to welcoming our new families at New Student Orientation on September 3. Be sure to stop by and meet members of the Parents' Association Board, learn about volunteer opportunities, and enter our welcome raffle. We hope you'll take a few minutes to introduce yourself—we're excited to get to know you and help you feel at home in the Hamden Hall community.

Be sure to mark your calendar for our annual Welcome Back Parent Social on Thursday, October 1, at 6:00 p.m. on the terrace outside the cafeteria. This complimentary event is a favorite tradition and a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new families, and kick off another great school year together.

Mission of the Hamden Hall Parents' Association
  • To build positive school spirit and nurture parent-to-parent and school-to-parent communication. 
  • To provide an avenue through which parents may be of service to the school. 
  • To provide an avenue through which the needs and desires of the parents may be known to the Board of Trustees and Head of School. 
  • To raise funds in conjunction with school-wide development policies and programs.
