Hamden Hall Country Day School

Educating students in PreSchool through Grade 12
Hamden Hall is dedicated to preparing its students for the challenges of life, and we believe that our students have a responsibility to give of themselves for the benefit of others. In keeping with this ideal, we believe that Community Service is a very valuable part of the Hamden Hall experience.

Throughout the year, we provide many opportunities for the students to reach out to the local community. The students may perform community service projects with their classes as a whole, such as school sponsored activities, as on Earth day, or with just a few friends in their own free time. They are also strongly encouraged to follow their own individual cause.

The majority of our community service projects are sponsored by Hamden Hall's chapter of Interact, a Rotary-sponsored youth community service program, recognized throughout the world.

Our plan is that each month we will embark on a school wide community service project to help aid a local organization.
