At Hamden Hall, our first priority is offering a rigorous curriculum that challenges students academically. But our involvement in our students’ well-being and preparation for the world beyond our halls doesn’t end there. We also care about our students and the kinds of people they become after graduation.

 

Whether your child is entering Lower, Middle, or Upper School, opportunities abound for them intellectually, physically, artistically, and socially amid the backdrop of small class sizes. 

 

Our Lower School offers a vibrant learning environment for PreSchool through Grade 6 students. A balanced, thoughtful curriculum includes world languages, the arts, physical education, cross-curricular studies via our Mystic Seaport Partnership, and a science program enhanced by our Bayer Family Science Center.

 

Our Middle School brings learning to life through real-world, experiential learning projects that spark interest and fully engage students. Leadership and humanitarian skills are developed through various mentoring opportunities and community service projects. 

 

Our Upper School provides Honors-level courses in all disciplines, nearly 30 Advanced Placement and post-AP courses, and instructional opportunities via the prestigious Global Online Academy. Our personalized college counseling program continually yields placement of a high percentage of students at the most competitive colleges and universities.
