All after-school activities canceled 11/15

Due to the impending storm, all after-school and evening activities have been canceled for Thursday,  November 15. Parents should plan to pick up their child at the normal dismissal time (3pm). Commuter runs will leave campus beginning at 3:15pm. There will be no late runs. Parents' Association Pie Pick up will be from noon - 3:30pm today. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s divisional office.

The Students 
  • Lower School: PreSchool through Grade 6.

  • Historically, 15 percent of our seniors receive recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Program.
  • In the 2016, 2017, and 2018 academic years, 312 students in Grades 10-12 took a total of 713 Advanced Placement Exams. Of those exams, 65 percent of the scores were either a 4 or a 5; and 88 percent of the scores were 3, 4, or 5. In addition, at the conclusion of the 2017-18 school year, 52 juniors and seniors were recognized by the College Board as AP Scholars - 25 of whom were AP Scholars with Distinction.

The Campus  
  • Twelve acres located in Hamden, Conn., a residential community adjacent to New Haven.
  • Eight major buildings including a science center, theater, library and art studios; three technology centers, MakerSpace Design Lab, and music suite with choral and instrumental practice rooms and classrooms.
  • The Skiff Street Athletic Complex, located one mile north of the main campus, is a 30-acre facility featuring a multi-sport artificial turf stadium, multiple fields, six outdoor tennis courts, and our $13 million Beckerman Athletic Center. Called the BAC, the 65,000-square-foot facility includes a natatorium, three basketball courts with an elevated jogging track, fitness center, multipurpose aerobics room, locker rooms, student lounge, and study center.
