Dr. Meena Moran Receives Yale Cancer Center Clinical Research Prize
Dr. Meena S. Moran, M.D., Hamden Hall Trustee and parent, received the 2014 Yale Cancer Center Clinical Research Prize for the Yale Cancer Center for her body of work: SSO/ASTRO Consensus Guideline on Margins for Breast-Conserving Surgery with Whole-Breast Irradiation in Stages I and II Invasive Breast Cancer published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
This award is given annually to the researcher felt to have published the most impactful clinical cancer research at Yale.
Dr. Moran is an associate professor of therapeutic radiology. She and her husband, Dr. Thomas Moran, have three children enrolled at Hamden Hall: sixth-grader Anisha, freshman Krishman, and senior Jay.
