“It’s a great honor for Hamden Hall to have Ross list among our alumni body”,” said Mr. Izzo. “Ross is a well-educated, intelligent, and accomplished journalist and author who has achieved global recognition. We are all looking forward to his words of wisdom and inspiration to our 2013 graduates—
all of them headed to outstanding colleges and all destined for a bright future.”

Ross and his wife, Abigail, live in Washington, D.C. They have two daughters. Gwendolyn, 2, and Eleanor, born in February. A native of New Haven, Ross is looking forward to coming “back home” to Hamden Hall.

“I'm honored by the invitation, slightly intimidated by the task, but optimistic that (unlike at my own HH graduation) I won't trip on my way up to the podium," quipped Ross.

The Class of 2013 is Hamden Hall’s 101st graduating class and contains 56 students. Nearly 10 percent of the class have attended Hamden Hall since PreKindergarten or Kindergarten and five students are the children of alumni.
