Freshman Collin Roth surprised everyone by winning the CISAC league cross country championship at Bucks Hill Park in Waterbury. Roth finished with a time of 18:20, beating the second place finisher by a huge 14 seconds. The Hornets finished third overall as a team. Sophomore Loren Dunn finished 13^th (19:23) and senior Jack Dowe finished 14^th (19:45) to earn All League status. This is the second time for Jack and the third time for Loren. Collin's brother, freshman Connor Roth finished 16^th in a time of 19:56, followed by sophomores Kyle Delfini 22^nd 21:18, Ian Norden 23^rd 21:23, Michael Crockett 25^th 21:55, and Nate Hill 30^th 22:41. The middle schoolers also performed well with John D’Angelo finishing 35^th 23:30, Luke El-Fishawy 36^th  23:41, and Nick Neumeister 41^st  24:15. Senior Silas Newman finished 46^th25:29.
