Math Whizzes Demonstrate Ivy League Prowess

Middle School math whizzes demonstrated Ivy League prowess during a recent competition at Yale University.
 
Ten MATHCOUNTS Middle Schoolers competed at Yale’s Becton Center against more than 130 New Haven-area students. Hamden Hall was represented by eighth-graders Sebastian Nario-Malberg, Laszlo Gendler, Akhil Trehan, Alex Lawson, Jing-Jing Wang, Kayla Stanley, Tyler Bunton, and Will Bunton; and seventh-graders Thomas Walsh and Jack Kim.
 
Sebastian Nario-Malberg was the highest scoring Hornet.
