In a tennis blitz, the Hornets triumphed over Cheshire Academy 7-0. Winning in straight sets were singles players  #1 Janie Motter, who wore down opponent Olivia Hungerford 6-3, 6-2; #2 Chrissy Lifton, winning in style at 6-4, 6-0, #3 Simona Fried, who prevailed at 6-3, 6-6, (7-5) and #4 Chelsea Fusco, breezing to a 6-1, 6-2 victory. The doubles players shared an equal measure of success, with the Massey Machine rolling over their opponents 6-0, 6-0, and frosh players Shin-Hae Lee and Anna Huether triumphing 6-4, 6-2 at the second doubles spot. Last but not least, #3 doubles Abby Ginsberg and Summer Irving made it a sweep, besting the opposition in a ten-game pro-set, 10-3. Way to go, Hornets!
