Hornets in First Win at Beckerman Athletic Center

In their first game at the new Beckerman Athletic Center, the Varsity Girls basketball team earned a hard fought 49-38 win over Christian Heritage.  Behind the first half inside/outside combination of Ellen Rich and Kelsey McCray, the Hornets took a 25 to 23 lead at the half.  Coming out of the locker room, Dreisen Heath led the charge, scoring 14 of her game high 17 points in the second half and dishing out 5 assists to keep Christian Heritage off balance.  Kelsey McCray added 14 points to go along with 6 steals.  Ellen Rich turned in another outstanding all around effort with 11 points, a game high 11 rebounds, 7 blocked shots, and 5 steals.  Kendall Woods hit several key baskets and finished the night with 6 points.  Christian Heritage, who entered the game with only a single loss to King, was led by Freshman Center Olivia Levey with 15 points.  With the win, Hamden Hall improves to 8-1.  Christian Heritage now stands at 6-2.
