2022 Alumna to Focus on Pre-Veterinary Medicine

Class of 2022 alumna and Lifer Ashley Sapiente shared that she is currently enrolled at Unity Environmental University in Maine for a continuing education program for pre-veterinary medicine.
Outside of school, Ashley volunteers at a local animal clinic and their shelter system. Additionally, she has been spending time traveling as she has officially retired from her competitive figure skating career. She was a member of Team USA for synchronized figure skating with the Haydenettes. Ashley and the team earned a myriad of accolades including the World Silver Medal at the 2024 World Synchronized Skating Championships and the 2025 World Bronze Medalists.
 
Ashley is the daughter of Board of Trustees member Joseph R. Sapiente and wife Kathy Sapiente. Her brothers Joseph and Spencer are Hamden Hall alumni, graduating in 2013 and 2017 respectively.
