Evan is a rising senior at the University of Pittsburgh, and Eric is a rising sophomore at Brown University. Evan will be taking some summer classes and continuing his job at a hospital in Pittsburgh as Eric will be starting an internship with a financial firm in Soho.

 

During the fall of his freshman year, Eric was joined by his parents, Dr. Hao Huang and Renee Huang, former Hamden Hall Water Polo Coach Andy Lewanbowski, past parents Jerome and Megan Jermain, and past parent Dr. Elie Ferneini at a water polo match between Brown University and George Washington University. Class of 2024 alumnus Connor Jermain and Class of 2025 alumnus Anthony Ferneini are both members of the Men’s Water Polo Team at George Washington University.

 

Evan connected with his fellow 2023 classmates, Isabella “Bella” Ferneini and Patrick Cucchiarelli, in Ireland on St. Patrick's Day as they were all studying abroad. Evan, Bella, and Patrick were all members of the Co-ed Varsity Swimming and Diving Team while at Hamden Hall.

 

Evan and Eric’s mother, Renee Huang, shared that both boys are doing very well in college, and added that she is fortunate and deeply grateful for everything they learned while at Hamden Hall.

 

“Their years at Hamden Hall helped shape them into who they are today, and I am really thankful for that, especially because both of them felt so supported by their teachers,” said Ms. Huang.
