Senior Night Win for Girls’ Varsity Tennis
The Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team welcomed Greens Farms Academy for its final match of the season at the James R. Maggart Tennis Courts on Tuesday, May 12, winning 4-3.
In the singles match, junior Rebecca Danishevsky won her set in the first position with a score of 8-4, senior Addie Lewis won her set in the second position with a score of 8-5, and sophomore Anna Aslan won her set in the fourth position with a score of 8-3.
In the doubles match, seniors Linda Chen and Grace Yang won their set with a score of 9-8 and tiebreaker score of 10-3.
With the victory, the team also celebrated its senior players including Addie, Linda, Grace, Julia Bryan, Chloe Kissane, Julia Sachs, and Shalani Singh. Coach Bob Scarella thanked the players for their contributions to the team and wished them all the best with their future endeavors.
The Lady Hornets also won their previous match against Ethel Walker School with a score of 7-0 on Monday, May 11.
