Girls’ Varsity Golf Captures NEPSAC Championship Title
The Girls’ Varsity Golf Team competed in the 40th Pippy O’Connor Independent School Girls Golf Classic/New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Tournament hosted at the Shuttle Meadow Country Club on Monday, May 11, winning first place.
Following another record-breaking season with their second consecutive FAA title for Hamden Hall, the Lady Hornets competed against 17 other independent schools. Sophomore Shawna Aurora posted 72 and tied for second. Junior Teresa Esposito posted 77, sophomore Lila Reiling posted 78, and senior Bryann O’Tinger posted 83.
The team returns to the green for the final match of the season against Choate Rosemary Hall, Kent School, and Taft School at the Wallingford Country Club on Wednesday, May 13, at 2:30 p.m.
