Girls’ Varsity Tennis Victorious on the Road
The Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team traveled to St. Luke’s School for an away match on Tuesday, May 5, winning 5-2.
In the singles match, junior Rebecca Danishevsky won in the first position with scores of 6-0 and 6-1, senior Addie Lewis won in the second position with scores of 6-4 and 6-1, and sophomore Anna Aslan won in the fourth position with scores of 6-0 and 6-0.
In the doubles match, eighth-graders Noelle Capasso and Loretta Newcomb won in the second position with scores of 6-1 and 6-4. Juniors Lily Evans and Allison Yang won in the third position with scores of 6-3 and 6-1.
The Lady Hornets return to the court for a home match at the James R. Maggart Tennis Courts against Wilbrahman & Monson Academy on Saturday, May 9, at 1:30 p.m.
