Back-to-Back Victories for Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse

The Boys' Varsity Lacrosse Team hosted Williams School at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex on Monday, April 27, winning 16-4.
The Hornets were quick on the defense as the offense put up five goals in the first quarter. The team kept the momentum going in the second quarter, adding six more goals to take an 11-2 lead into halftime. The offense added three goals in the third quarter and two more in the fourth to secure the 16-4 win.

Junior Logan Rapuano led the attack with five goals, junior Austin McWeeney added three goals, and junior Ben Greenberg had two goals and four assists. Sophomore Landon Kaliszewski and eighth-grader Jameson Scott each chipped in two goals. On the ground, sophomore Trin Sukduang had a monster game with eight ground balls. Junior Gavin Guigno added six ground balls, and junior Toby Blackhawk chipped in four ground balls to help control possession.

The team also won its game against St. Luke’s School on Friday, April 24, with a score of 18-6. Junior Logan Rapuano led the attack with an outstanding six goals while junior Austin McWeeney, junior Gavin Guigno, sophomore Landon Kaliszewski, eighth-grader Cooper Lily, and junior Toby Blackhawk each added two goals in the commanding victory.

The team stays home at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex for a home game against Kingswood-Oxford School on Wednesday, April 29, at 4:30 p.m.
