Girls’ Varsity Tennis Swings Back to Victory

The Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team traveled to Canterbury School for an afternoon match on Monday, April 20, winning 6-1.
In the singles match, junior Rebecca Danishevsky won in the first position with a score of 8-0, senior Addie Lewis won in the second position with a score of 8-3, senior Shalani Singh won in the third position with a score of 8-5, and sophomore Anna Aslan won in the fourth position with a score of 8-0.
 
In the doubles match, seniors Grace Yang and Julia Bryan won in the first position with a score of 8-3. Juniors Allison Yang and Lily Evans won in the third position with a score of 8-7 with a 10-3 tiebreaker score.
 
The team returns to the court for a home match against Westover School at the James R. Maggart Tennis Courts on Wednesday, April 22, at 4:30 p.m.
