Girls’ Varsity Basketball Outscore Rivals

The Girls’ Varsity Basketball Team hosted Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Hopkins School for a home game at the Beckerman Athletic Center on Monday, February 2, winning 54-13.
Taking the court, the team was quick on the tip-off and took the lead in the first. The Lady Hornets dominated the whole game as senior Tessa Porch and junior Andrea Crump kept the ball moving as junior Madison Benigini was strong on the offensive end with fast breaks and points scored. Senior Reilly Chernovetz had a great game on both sides of the court.

Coach Brian noted that the competitive spirit was high, and the energy from the crowd kept the team motivated.

The team stays home at the Beckerman Athletic Center for a game against Masters School on Saturday, February 7, at noon.
