Home Court Win for Boys’ Varsity Basketball
The Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team took on Storm King School in a home game at the Beckerman Athletic Center on Wednesday, January 28, winning 66-59.
Sophomore Daniel Vincent led the Hornets with 22 points followed by freshmen TJ Holt and Massa Toure who both netted 10 points each. Senior Amato Civitello and juniors Christian Cournoo and Eli Kingsley netted a combined 22 points.
“We started the game off strong and were up by 2 at halftime, " said Christian. “ It was close throughout, but we held on to our lead and pulled out the win.”
Coach Sean Doherty shared that it was a battle on the court and every player contributed to the win.
The team returns to the court for an away game against Marianapolis School on Friday, January 30, at 6 p.m.
