Carol Taylor Lake, Class of 1954

Carol Taylor Lake, of Acton, Mass., an alumna of the Hamden Hall Class of 1954, died December 6, 2025. She was 89. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman, and her younger son, Chris. She is survived by her oldest son, Jeff, her brother, and two nephews.
Through the years Carol volunteered at a number of community institutions and organizations. In 1974 she founded and became the Director of the Acton Council on Aging, where she served until her retirement. Carol was an active member of the Acton Congregational Church, serving as its first woman deacon.
