Brunswick Invitational Tournament Welcomes Co-ed Varsity Wrestling
The Co-ed Varsity Wrestling Team competed in the 51st Brunswick Invitational Tournament over the weekend on Saturday, January 17.
The tournament was hosted at Brunswick School in Greenwich with 16 other schools competing for the title. The Hornets put in a strong effort as five wrestlers took the mat. Coach Kiernan Griffin 2000 shared that juniors Carmine Cariati and Gavin Giugno both earned second place in their respective weight classes.
The team returns to the mat for the Hamden Hall Invitational Tournament hosted at the Beckerman Athletic Center on Saturday, January 24, at 8 a.m.
