Tied Game for Boys’ Varsity Soccer
The Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team welcomed Christian Heritage School for a home game on Thursday, October 23, ending in a 1-1 tie.
Taking the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, junior Anton Cruz converted a beautiful penalty kick while junior Theo Baron made key saves in the net to keep the game close.
“A great effort by the boys creating many shots on goal that hit the post and crossbar,” commented Coach Michael Moore.
The night ended with the team honoring its senior players Kaleb Fiore, Alex Romero, and Charlie Sudmyer.
The team returns to the field for an away game against St. Luke’s School on Monday, October 27, at 4 p.m.
