Harmonious Weekend for the Class of 1980

A group of friends from the Class of 1980 gathered for a fun weekend recently at a working farm owned by a classmate.
Bob Spiegel, Bill Van Antwerp, Ron Kay, and Martin Beatty spent the weekend at Peace Valley Lavender Farm in Doylestown, Penn., which is owned and operated by George Lyons and his wife, Patty. With over 3,000 lavender plants, visitors can pick their own flowers and shop for lavender-scented products - from soaps and body lotions to sachets and even chocolates.

George and Patty are also instructors at Bucks County Aikido, which is located above the barn and store operations of Peace Valley Lavender Farm. In addition to enjoying good food and reconnecting by a fire pit, the classmates watched Sensei George lead one of his classes.
