Undefeated Season for Girls’ Varsity Golf
The Girls’ Varsity Golf Team traveled to the Greenwich Country Club for a match against Greenwich Country Day School on Thursday, May 1, winning 5-0.
Juniors Bryann O’Tinger and Berrak Simse, sophomore Teresa Esposito, and freshmen Shawna Aurora, Ruina Huang, and Lila Reiling all did well in their individual matches to win the game.
Coach Keith Kaliszewski 1998 noted that the team record for the season is 7-0, marking an undefeated season for the Lady Hornets. This is the first time in the school’s history that we fielded a Girls’ Varsity Golf Team.
The team returns to the green for the individual Fairchester Athletic Association League Tournament at the Fairview Country Club on Monday, May 5, at 1 p.m.
