The Co-ed Varsity Swimming and Diving Team competed in the Connecticut Independent School Athletic Conference (CISAC) Championships and defended its titles with the Boys’ Team scoring 209 points and the Girls’ Team scoring 240.
For the Boys’ Team, junior Anthony Ferneini placed first in the 200-Yard IM with a time of 2:01.44 followed by sophomore Tyler Tagliarini in second with a time of 2:04.07. Junior Parker Jones placed first in the 500-Yard Freestyle with a time of 6:08.24 and eighth-grader Frey Wang placed first in the 100-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:16.95.
For the Girls’ Team, senior Mason Rickey, sophomore Julia Scalmani, freshman Alessandra Sticca, and seventh-grader Evie Allgood placed first in the 200-Yard Medley Relay with a time of 2:09.6. Julia placed first in the 100-Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:13.06 followed by fellow sophomore Emma Cunningham in third with a time of 1:40.38.

The team is getting ready for the NEPSAC Swimming and Diving Championship on Saturday, March 2nd. The Boys’ Team is looking to defend its title.
