John P. Aurora, Parent of Faculty Member and Current Grandparent
John Peter Aurora, Sr. died peacefully on October 27 surrounded by his loving family. He was 83. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara, three sons and seven grandchildren. His son Gary is a Hamden Hall faculty member, and Gary's daughter, Shawna, is a current Hamden Hall student, Class of 2028.
John graduated from the UCONN School of Pharmacy in 1962. He was co-owner of Colonial Pharmacy in West Haven for 38 years.
