Tied-Game for Boys’ Varsity Soccer

The Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team hosted Emmanuel Christian Academy at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex for an afternoon game on Tuesday, September 19.

The game started slowly as the Hornets were down 1-3 at halftime, but recovered in the second half to tie the game at 3-3. Senior Ethan Berman scored two goals with an assist from sophomore Kaleb Fiore. Freshman Leo Dottori kept the ball away from multiple defenders and senior Eli Parsons scored a goal on a penalty kick to end the game in a tie.

“The team showed tremendous grit and character,” said Coach Michael Moore. “This was a unifying experience and a total team effort. We will take the positives and learn from the mistakes.”

The team returns to the field for its first away game against Williams School on Friday, September 22, at 4 p.m.
